The “Universal Design Essentials” course is designed to complement the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) course by focusing on the integration of Universal Design principles into a wide range of single-family residential construction projects.

Unlike the CAPS course, which concentrates on custom accessibility modifications, this course emphasizes the adoption of Universal Design.
